Welcome to Tucson Metal Society's website! I'm Brad Phipps, a bass player, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. I've been a passionate part of Tucson's metal scene since 1989, playing in bands like Nuiclayic Fear, Painted Aggression, The Aggressive Sound Session (The A.S.S.), Exhibition Of Sound, Mad 7, Case520, End of Swan, and Stands With Fists. Whether on stage with my bass or behind the camera, I've always aimed to capture the raw energy and unique spirit of our community.
Over the years, I've documented countless live shows and created over 30 music videos for local bands. My journey also includes producing shows on Access Tucson, such as "Music and Mayhem with Jon Russell and Mischief Madness" and "The Best of War Zone Wrestling." Additionally, I launched two magazines—"Tucson Model Magazine," showcasing local talents and organizations, and "Local e," highlighting our vibrant music scene.
With Tucson Metal Society, my goal is to shine an even brighter spotlight on metal, punk, and hard rock in our community.
